For a paragliding experience above those which are normally offered this is for you. The use of a helicopter to access the mountain tops which tower over Queenstown is the perfect way to get away from the crowds and enjoy a longer more extreme paragliding ride. And made safe by the pilots who live and work in this area year round.

These flights are magic at sunrise and sunset, with the snow-capped spine of the Southern Alps in full view. The main mountains we use for Heli Tandems are:

• Bowen Peak – take off is on the mountain directly above and behind the Skyline Gondola and lands back in Queenstown.
• The Remarkables (7000ft) – take off is on a black ski run, the flight takes you over rugged rocks and vertical cliffs - ”awesome”. Landing is at the base of the mountain.
• Cecil Peak (6500ft) - take off on the opposite side of the lake to Queenstown and fly across the lake landing back in Queenstown, or fly the side of Cecil Peak across a valley landing at Walter Peak Station and travel back to Queenstown onboard a steamboat.
